April 3rd 6-8 pm Registration for Bow Hunting Course - NYS sportsman's Education Program Region 7 instructor Robert Holdridge. Must register in person April 3rd to continue classes of April 9 & 13

April 6th  10am Creative Critters
made of paper, foil and wire (nature art) with artist Carol Cotten. For children in 2nd - 4th grades. Limit to 10 participants, nust register. Donations welcomed.

April 6th - 1:00 pm Swamp Snappers Camera Club Meeting 

April 13th Curious George Swings into Spring at the GSC with WCNY-PBS!!!!!!
must register through WCNY  4 environmental stations for children 4-8 years old. $1 suggested donation  11:00 & 1:00

April 20th at 1:00 pm Exercising Your Warbler Ears - With Professional bird watcher Cheri Sassman
For avid birders or adventurous beginners

April 23rd - 6:30pm:  Swamp Bees-ness
The Bee Man Candle Company will present the importance of Honey Bees and native pollinators for swamp flora.

May 4th and 5th - Spring Migration Festival
10, am - 4 pm both days Annual Festival celebrating the return of migratory birds with acclaimed wildlife artists, crafters, children’s activities, live animals, guided bird walks, music, and more! Suggested donation $3/adult, $2/member, $1/child.

May 18th 9 am - 3:30 pm Project Learning Tree
For educators working with students pre-K – 12th grade/ environmental education.PLT activities meet national, state & local learning standards. Free- sponsored by NYS DEC & NYS Education Department.
The program is limited to 30 participants and one must pre-register (no fee)

June 1st - National Trails Day
11 am: Come help the GSC staff and volunteers clean up the wooded trail.

June 1st - 1 pm: Swamp Snappers Camera Club Meeting 

June 8th - 11am:  Humane education with Wanderers’ Rest

June 22nd - 10am:  Paper Making with artist Carol Cotton.
Learn how to make your own paper. Recommended for children between 3rd and 6th grade. Can be used in Nature Journal. 

July 6th - 1 pm: Swamp Snappers Camera Club Meeting 

July 12th and 13th – 9am-4 pm: GSC Annual Community Garage Sale

  Set up your own table for $5. Clean donated items needed. Drop off items in barn. No tires, TV’s, computers, paints, chemicals or micro waves. Call to reserve a table (10’ x10’ area) by July 1st.

August 3rd - 1 pm:  Swamp Snappers Camera Club Meeting 

September 7th – 1 pm:  Swamp Snappers Camera Meeting

September 14th - 10-4 pm:  Fall Migration Festival & Annual Chicken BBQ
Crafters, vendors, kids’ activities, live animals, nature oriented. Suggested donation $3/adult, $2/member, $1/child

October 5th - 1pm:  Swamp Snappers Camera Club Meeting 

October 20th and 27th - 11 – 4 pm:  Halloween Fun Days
Non-scary, lots of Halloween fun for kids!  Suggested donation $3 per child

November 2nd - 1 pm: Swamp Snappers Camera Club Meeting

December 7th - 1 pm: Swamp Snappers Camera Club Meeting 

December 7th and 8th:  Christmas- Tree Sale - Reserve a tree ahead of time.
