Join MacArthur fellow, mother, scientist, decorated professor, and enrolled member of the Potawatomi Nation Robin Wall Kimmerer as she speaks on “Restoration and Reciprocity: healing relationships with the natural world”. Kimmerer’s interests in restoration go beyond just ecological restoration as she advocates for the added importance of the restoration to our relationship to land. She will touch on the benefits of blending traditional ecological knowledge with that of indigenous management practices and what the future holds if our perspectives on science and conservation don’t change.
