Come and enjoy the day with us! Share your bluebirding joys and woes, ask your questions to our knowledgeable long-time members, greet our new members, and learn a little more about how to reinforce our mission of conserving the Eastern Bluebird and other native cavity nesting birds for future generations.

The NYSBS Annual Meeting will be held in Central NY on Saturday, September 23rd.  We hope that you will be able to join us at the Great Swamp Conservancy located at 8375 N. Main St. in Canastota. This event is free and open to the public. The following is the schedule for the day:

7:30-8:45- Guided Bird ID Walk w/ Hans Kunze

8:30-9:15- Registration & Light Refreshments

8:30-2:45- Silent Auction & Basket Raffles

9:15-10:00- Brief NYSBS Business Meeting

10:00-11:00- Wildlife Rehabilitator Cindy Page, with Live Birds of Prey

11:00-12:00- Lunch: $10.00 per person

12:00-1:00- “Bluebirds and Beyond” Presentation by Hans Kunze

1:00-2:00- Short Flights- Presentations on: Construction of Predator Guards, Demonstration of online Nest Box Data collection,  Cornell’s Nest Watch & “Helping Bluebirds Survive NY Winters”

2:15- Awards

2:45- Results of Silent Auction & Basket Raffle * Times are Subject to Change *
